    You will need to book an appointment with a Cardiologist prior to your Pre-operative appointment. It is protocol for anyone 50 years of age and older is to be reviewed by a cardiologist. This helps to diagnose risky undiagnosed cardiac problems (if any) or the cardiologist gives you ‘clearance’ for surgery.
