Bariatric (Obesity) Surgeon, General Surgeon, Laparoscopic Surgeon, Upper GI Surgeon (Abdominal)
Any properly trained general, plastic, or ENT surgeon should be able to assess these lesions and advise whether or not the lesions require removal or not. Dermatologists or GPs with a specialty interest in skin-cancer surgery should also be able to assess the skin lesions and provide this advice, and may be able to perform the surgery also, although some do not like to operate close to the eye.
It is important to choose a doctor who will excise the lesions completely and preserve cosmesis and function (particularly important around the eye) and not take a "shave biopsy" or "punch biopsy" which may be inappropriate, inadequater or not indicated for the lesion.
Some doctors, such as myself, will be happy to bulk bill you for the procedure to have the lesions removed if they are straight forward and will not take long, although the consultation may come with a fee. There is certainly no shame in shopping around and enquiring with regard to out of pocket expenses before choosing a surgeon.
Kind regards,
