Treatment for phrenic nerve irritation
I am 71 y/o female, Caucasian, BMI 24, reasonably active, exercise most days, walk some, careful diet.
I suffer; cognitive dysfunction, (memory, typing, speaking); severe central sleep apnea; massive, loud hiccups, (sounds like donkey); diaphragm causes +/- 6 uncontrollable gasps after bending down; severe neck headaches; strong pain neck, shoulders, behind scapulars; debilitating pain joints, arms, wrists, palms, fingers, thumbs; stabbing pain thru skull; stabbing, persistent pain behind left eye, sometimes rt; dull/sharp pain left jaw bone; dull/sharp pain left collarbone ... and more!
Should I contact a Neurosurgeon or an Orthopaedic surgeon? I am thinking I may need a foraminotomy.
