  • Q&A with Australian Health Practitioners

    Stage 4 Bowel Cancer

Had the large bowel removed on Oct 2014, 8 cycles of chemo and reversal of Ileostomy on May 2015. On June 2016, I was advised it had returned in Oventum abdomen and liver, undergoing chemo fortnightly, no surgical options and have had bowel restrictions due to tumours in the abdomen. The chemo seems to have stagnated the liver's two spots. Also seems to have reduced the growth of the tumours in the abdomen. What would be the average of my lifespan with this?
