What's the most efficient way to straighten one crooked tooth?

I had braces for two or three years, and have had them off now for about five years. I unfortunately never wore my retainer, and my bottom teeth stayed completely straight, and all but one of my top teeth did the same. The one that's giving me a problem is my lateral incisor (?) on my right side. It goes a little bit back, so it looks fine from the front, but any angle whatsoever and *especially* a full side view is so noticeable and unattractive. I would've gotten Invisalign by now, but I don't know if it's worth it financially and time-wise to go through all of that for just one tooth, and I'm 18 now and going to college so I definitely don't want to get braces again. What are my other options?

If braces and aligners such as Invisalign is not an option for you there is also veneering the lateral incisor to mask the fact that it is out of alignment, this can be done with composite resin (filling material) or porcelain.

The best and longest lasting result is to move the teeth back into the ideal position with braces or aligners. If you have had braces before, it shouldn't take as long or be as difficult to restraighten the teeth again. Talk to your orthodontist or dentist about this.
