My son is in so much pain from his Buck but his leg left is pain. Will a chiropractor help?

He's seen a dr at the hospital and they said it's a nerve pinch. He got just pain killers (nurofen plus and panadol), its heart breaking to ses him in so much pain. He can't do nothing, walking with a stick, crying and screaming from the pain. Can a chiropractor help him? He also have disk 3.4.5. damage. -
