If you go to a public hospital clinic, your consultation will be bulk-billed. If you see an orthopaedic surgeon in his private room, it is uncommon that they would bulk-bill especially if you are not a pensioner, but you could always ring around and ask. There is crrently no register of bulk-billing orthopaedic specialists.
