  • Q&A with Australian Health Practitioners

Should I be worried if my temperature is always low?

    Related Topic
My temperature of late is always low like 34.4 or sometimes 35.

Someone told me I should get this checked out.

Can someone advise if I should be concerned about this?

Firstly if you are otherwise seemingly well, it is prudent to confirm the temperature reading with another thermometer.

If indeed your core body temperature is that low, or you feel unwell that it is strongly recommended that you see a doctor promptly.

There are many possible causes of low body temperature, but one of the more common diseases associated with this is hypothyroidism.

    Please see a doctor promptly.
