Firstly I hope you are recovering well from your surgery.
The recurrence of endometriosis with low dose HRT is very low- around 3%.
Having had your uterus removed, you would only require oestrogen therapy.
The concern here is not the symptoms of menopause but the lack of hormones in a young woman below the age of 50. Oestrogen is very important in a woman of your age for the following reasons:
1-Bone health: reduces the risk of osteoporosis and bone fractures
2-Cardioprotective: reduction in risk of Ischemic Heart Disease and Stroke
3-Reduction of risk of dementia and cognitive decline
4-Good for sexual well being.
I would recommend a discussion with your gynaecologist in regards to the risks and benefits of being on Hormone replacement therapy at the age of 41. Definitely the benefits far outweigh the risks in your case.
