Yes. As a hypnotherapist, I treat people all the time for their depression. Most of the people I see have already had some counselling with a psychologist, but because hypnotherapy goes further and deeper, people are able to get more of the answers needed to resolve those depressed feelings and negative thoughts. Hypnotherapy not only offers an opportunity to find answers, but also to resolve the causes of the depression and also heal them. I suggest you look into hypnotherapy as a way forward.

It is possible. But of course such considerations warrant an assessment. In general, Michael Yapko provides good resources on depression and hypnotherapy: https://yapko.com/

Importantly, he is qualified and experienced and I believe a good authority on the topic.

In addition, a qualified hypnotherapist will assess you thoroughly and rule out contraindications to ensure your experience during and post hypnotherapy, is safe and rewarding. Best wishes.
