Dietitian
Hi there,
first of all, that's fantastic that you have given up smoking and alcohol and the fact that you are exercising daily is also a plus.
When you say unpredicatable I will have to assume that your weight is increasing?
Around menopause there are a number of hormonal changes occurring and this may lead to a decrease in our metabolism. This is turn means that you may need to eat a little bit less than you currently are in order to maintain your weight. Having a regular pattern to meals and snacks (if you are hungry between meals) is important and ensuring that you are getting adequate sleep are all important.
An Accredited Practising Dietitian can help tailor a plan for you as it is very difficult to advise people when you are unsure of their circumstances.
Good Luck!
