How do I treat joint pain at age 27?

Over the last one year i have been having issues with my knee joints, ankles, elbows and my the soles of my feet keep on burning. I am only 27 years old and I have done almost all the things the doctor has asked me. I had noticed the Vitamin D was down to 25 instead of 75 and i have been taking vitamin supplements to maintain it. There has been no day that i have not had pain in my body and the few practioners i have been to have not been able to help me stop this pain. I have changed my diet accordingly, try to get as much sunlight as i can, go to the gym atleast 4 times a week and soccer atleast once a week (two hours of running) but nothing has helped me. At the moment im taking vitamin D pills and Men's performance multi vitamins. I am tired of living this whole year like this and wish someone could give me the right advise to get my joint pains go away

Sorry to hear of your situation. I assume that your GP has checked the most common reasons for these joint aches such as the multiple arthridities that exist. Was there some trigger that began this process for you? Does rest help at all? Are there any other aggravating factors?

It may be worth thinking outside the box for this one, looking to visit a practitioner who will look more broardly at not only the joints in question, but also possible biochemical factors such as the quality of digestion that may be a cause for subclinical inflammatory tendencies.

It is very difficult to give you a specific answer on this question as there are multiple possible reasons for what you are experiencing. All I can say is that, if your GP has checked all possible reasons for the pain and nothing has shown up, it may be worth visiting a practitioner from Hands On Superhealth or the like. It would also be wise to seek a second opinion..it always helps to have another brain on the case.

    All the best.

    Dear 27 year old sufferer
I echo Ryan's comments regarding your GP doing the routine screening bllod tests as your symtoms sound like an auto immune condition :(
A blood test to check if your ESR is higher than normal would be the first step.
Have you considerend visiting a Specialist Rheumatologist to help with getting a clear diagnosis
You're way to young to be experiencing the kind of aches and pains us older folk have to learn to live with!
Good Luck with finding out what's up
    Warm regards

It depends on what the cause of it is, whether it is rheumatoid joint pain or osteoarthritis. It might simply be a tightness in the muscles causing the joint to not function correctly and so you can treat the muscles.
Sometimes you need to treat the joints. There are different techniques you can use for that. Sometimes it is just a matter of assisting the whole alignment of the system to see if there is anything out that is causing stress on the joint.
