How to deal with new diagnosis of Crohn's when I was told I had UC?

I am confused and need advice. I was diagnosed with Pan Ulcerative Colitis last year but my last scope now shows that it now looks a bit like Crohns as I have some things in the colon that only Crohns patients have to which I can not exactly remember what it was.

I feel like I have been rediagnosed again and not sure how to deal with this. I am now waiting for the results to either confirm this diagnose etc., and told to stay on current medication but I am not getting any better. I do not see my specialist again until late december and I am stressing about this new diagnose what are the implications of now having Crohns how is it treated what questions should I ask when seeing the specialist. And what other treatment are availalbe.

Sometimes this happens - what they think is Ulcerative Colitist is later diagnosed as Crohns disease. They are not much different in the drugs used for either of them. At least now you may have a correct diagnosis.
