In a recent meta-analysis that looked at perceived stress and cardiovascular disease by Richardson etal in the American Journal of Cardiology, they concluded that (from the abstract) "In conclusion, this meta-analysis suggests that high perceived stress is associated with a moderately increased risk of incident CHD." A meta-analysis is a type of study that brings together all results from similar studies and analyses them.
