Dentist, Prosthodontist
The chief advantage is that if you're missing a tooth or a group of teeth, you can have them replaced as long as there's enough bone to put the implant into without damaging adjacent teeth. For some, it gets you away from wearing dentures which have to come in and out of your mouth for cleaning if you are missing just a few teeth. If you are missing a lot of teeth or all your teeth, then having implants can help to support a denture or maybe get rid of a denture all together. Again depending on exactly what's wrong with you, and following a proper examination and consultation, and diagnosis, we can plan treatment.
