Hi, Hypnotherapy can be very effective for mild depression. Hypnotherapy helps you to replace the negative automatic thoughts and beliefs in your subconscious mind with more positive thoughts and beliefs. Have you been diagnosed with severe depression? For severe depression you would need to discuss hypnotherapy with your treating doctor and gain their approval and wriiten consent as severe depression and strong medications can have adverse effects. If hypnotherapy is not recommended, coaching and counselling may help you identify the source of your depression and plan a way forward.

    Yes.

I understand the basic level of hypnosis from carnival shows, performed on stage by a renouned hypnotist in my country that I dont premotion for. Because it was there for a few of his shows with free tickets from promotion every year, I happened to pick up on the cue points, that everyone under the influence of alcohol, over a short period, wouldnt pick up on.

However hypnosis is an art form, that works through a variety of means. Visual, mental, physical & chemical.

You could be hypnotised by the very means that lures you into a store. The sent that commonly lures anyone to a particular show in a food court. This is because it adversely affects your decision making & programs your mind to identify a key point, such as I can still remember a food shop that ive never been to, just because someone commented on the smell of the food & as soon as I noticed the aroma, I wanted to go. This is a basic form of hypnosis that isnt implanted by the owner of the store but very well could be.

You might be asking yourself well everything you get exposed to affects your decision making. Well your right, so there for, hypnosis is just a gimik, but lets say you understand what lures you into a particular direction. This is really, what these medical practitioners study.

Really what we want to due is train your strain of thought by giving it an appropriate messure or reward system.

Fear can be just as invocative as feeling of pleasure & your decisions are triggered by the reaction you choose to take. Its only a matter of training the brain, through these varies techniques that allows you to choose the decisions you want to make & because its applied in principle with support, you have your fail safe of what is an affective technique & also applying yourself be being exposed to a particular senario that you would ordinarily try to avoid.

End of lesson (there is more, much more & for what where not allowed to practice, is only part of a long lost science).
