Usually with Crohn's disease there is no hair loss although up to 10% of patients can get skin manifestations, which in some cases, can include hair loss. Also, the medication that one might use for Crohn's can have a number of side effects and this could also cause hair loss. The other thing that you would have to look for or have your doctor look for, is to make sure that there is no underlying coeliac disease which is a more common cause of hair loss.
