    As osteoporosis is a multifactorial condition, there are numerous health professionals you can utilise. If the osteoporosis is diagnosed early, there are multiple preventative strategies available such as diet, exercise and optimal joint mechanics and spinal curves.

    When we (as chiropractors) look at the individual we aim to address their specific reason for beginning to develop or have already developed the condition. This may be through nutritional and exercise advice, supplementation of deficient nutrients (vit D, calcium, etc) or the abnormal loading through specific areas of the body.

    Many other professions look after osteoporos however all do so in different ways. The important thing is to get onto it early as late stage osteoporosis is very difficult to manage.
