How can I sleep better to avoid fluid build up on my forehead?

I have osteo in my neck and shoulders and don't sleep very well, tossing & turning all night. Sometimes I wake up with a large fluid like build up on my forehead, it moves from side to side when I turn. It usually goes away after I have been out of bed for a few hours.

Swelling such as this can be a sign of cardiovascular issues. Have you had a check from your GP?

Along with this, if there is a relationship with your neck, have you found that when you sleep well due to your neck feeling better.. does this make a difference?

    Some tips for sleeping.
    - side or back is best (tummy sleeping is detrimental for the neck)
    - keep your neck in a neural position when sleeping. a good pillow will help here. You want to have a straight spine when in either side or supine positions.
    - have a spinal check from a chiropractor and have an appropriate pillow. Most chiropractors will have these available.
    - place a pillow between your knees when on your side and a pillow under your knees when on your back.
