Hi there,
Great to see that you are interested in being healthy and fit.
The Australian guidelines advise to do exercise most days of the week.
They are referring to things like walking, swimming, cycling etc.. and
Resistance exercise should be done 2-3 times per week.
Our service is set up for two-three times a week for gym exercises.
I hope that helps. Monte

Three or four times per week to improve. Once or twice per week to maintain. Of course, this is based on optimal intensity (loading). Anything less than once per fortnight will usually result in detraining.
