    cant find tablets that work for me

    over the last 5 months my GP has been prescribing different antidepressants all of which have not suited me for different reason eg insomnia. Would a psychiatrist be more able to find a suitable drug for me?

    Caryn, I think that Grant has offered you great advice.

    It took me and my psychiatrist a while (some trial and error) to find an AD which works for me.

    Grant's idea of seeing a psychologist as well as a psychiatrist is also good. In case a combination of medication and CBT (from my psychologist) has been far more effective than either has been in isolation.
