There are many health concerns about pesticides and chemical fertilizers. There are two key websites where you can find detailed information on these and other environmental chemicals.
Both of these sources quote scientific studies as references and able to address just about any question you have about your concerns.

One is the Australian based National Toxics Network (NTN) www.ntn.org.au a community based network working to ensure a toxic-free future for all. NTN was formed in 1993 and has grown as a national network giving a voice to community and environmental organisations across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.

The other is the US based not-for -profit Environmental Working Group (EWG) www.ewg.org where scientists, engineers, policy experts, lawyers and computer programmers pore  over government data, legal documents, scientific studies and their own laboratory tests to expose threats to your health and the environment, and to find solutions.

    Well worth a look.
