Hi, my name is Dr Karen Crawley from the AMDF. We have some information on our website about how mito affects the body but it can also vary wildly from patient to patient. Even a family where all the children have the same genetic defect, each can present very differently. Other good websites with lots of information are the two USA sites of mitoaction and UMDF.
