Should I get my child checked for Lyme disease?

My 15 year old son just went on a weekend camping trip with his friends. I had to remove a tick from his arm earlier this morning. Although I do not see any weird symptoms, is it best if he goes to the doctor to get checked for Lyme disease? -

Thankfully not all ticks will pass on Lyme Disease. However if your son displays any sign of illness or bullseye rash I strongly advise you to seek help from a Lyme literate Doctor as soon as possible.
