    Has anyone succeeded with non surgical pterygium treatment using homeopathy?

    Homeopathic texts do cite treatment for pterygium, but the remedies I have tried have not been successful. Whether homeopathic or not, has anyone a reliable medicinal treatment for pterygium?
    These are said to be from UV radiation, but I believe that mine are caused by radiation via my computer, because that's when they bother me the most.

    Homeopathy is a paradigm of therapy lacking any credible scientific basis or biological plausibility. There are no homeopathic remedies of any use beyond a placebo effect. No one has succeeded with non-surgical pterygium treatment.

    Pterygium removal can only be done surgically; however, if you have a small pterygium that is not interfering with blinking, distorting the cornea or encroaching on your pupil, it may be possible to calm it down by using chilled ocular lubricants. Not all pterygia need surgery.
    See a reputable optometrist for advice.

    An inflamed pterygium can be treated with
    1) Applying a cold compress to your closed eyes 
    2)  Lubricant eye drops
    3)  Vaso-constrictive eyes drops that remove redness from your eyes
    4)  Weartgni sunglasses to protect from sun, UV, dust and dryness

    Large, sore, red or growing pterygia may requre other treatments or surgery, see your Optometrist or GP for advice.

    In my 33 years of clinical experience i have never seen this happen.Homeopathy is in the medical community regarded as “quackery” and the remedies ineffective overall.Even with good surgical removal re-growth occurs,in Australia the only person i would recomend for the best removal is Prof L.Hirst in brisbane,he has a procedure called PERFECT for PTERYGIUM,the results are amazing to say the least
