let me add an extra to this question, as I realise its rather vague. I know all the side effects this can cause that has been written down on a piece of paper, but there is one grey area which Im unsure about. My husband has been prescribed this drug because he suffers depression/anixety, things seemed rather calm like whilst taking just his anti-depressant and although he seems to believe he feels better taking neulactil, I see another side to him I dont like. If we say have any disagreements. or he feels upset with anything as sometimes it doesnt take a lot, and normally with his depression he would just not speak, and just sleep etc, now when on this drug, he seems to get more aggressive with his responses with me, not physically, but verbally. He has always had tendacies to act out this way when upset, as its his frustration at not being able to communicate effectively when things bother him, so lashing out at me is his only method., but now he seems to have this no care attituted completely and will say anything , and act accordingly. He has often told me he will take way more tablets then prescibed just to numb his feelings, when hes angry, how many would it take for it to be an overdose, and if he ever does what should I do.?, and should he be getting this way with the tablets or should he be taken off of them.?
