    You should ensure that your sunscren has as high an SPF as possible - this after all stands for “sun protection factor”.

    Choosing a  mineral sunscreen with high levels of  titanium dioxide and / or zinc oxide will give you excellent cover without the exposure to chemicals that you get when using chemical sunscreens.

    You can tell the main ingerdients on any label, as they are listed in order of % content. If the mineral components (zinc/ titanium dioxide) are not high on the list, then choose a sunscreen which does.
