The good news is that sometimes the disease stabilises or goes into remission. In the past people were often very stooped over, stiff and disabled.
New medication and a strict stretching and exercise regime can help significantly to slow or put off this process. Seek out an As class or a physiotherapiwst with specific expertise inthis problem for the best outcome.
