Certain areas such as the hip and knee can be helped through appropriate strengthening and stretching exercises. Sometimes people are not able to walk on land or do a land based exercise program because of the pain. This is where hydrotherapy can be very useful since the reduced weight bearing on the joints allows strengthening and stretching to take place. Here are links to two useful information sheets.
