In most cases glaucoma does not cause symptoms, especially in the early stages. With later stages you may notice a loss or blurring of peripheral vision. Significant awareness of peripheral vision loss usually indicates advanced disease.

While it is true that glaucoma does not usually have any symptoms in the early stages, in later disease, central visual field defects sometimes occur before peripheral defects. Moreover, other causes need to be considered as a possible cause of your blind spot, including neurological conditions and retinal disease. I would suggest that you have a comprehensive eye examination to determine the cause of the small blind spot you have noticed.
