Starting in February this year I have undergone hormone therapy, radiotherapy and brachytherapy for prostate cancer. On completion of the treatment:
I took Flomaxtra 400 (tamasulin-HCI) for 3months then after a flow test my urologist advised that I could stop taking Flomaxtra. However my oncologist advised that I should gradually come off Flomaxtra otherwise I could have problems later. Who is correct? And what is the current rundown dosage? I have reduced from 1 tablet to half a tablet a day.The only supplement I have been advised to take is Vitamin D but no dosage was advised. I thought we obtained the necessary vitamin D from the sun (I’m in WA). Do I need to take vitamin D?My testosterone level is ‘negligible’. When is it normal for this to recover?
