Special interests

I am focussed on achieving outcomes for you and will tailor your treatment according to your goals. I work from a positive, solution-focussed approach aimed at creating meaningful symptom relief and long-term changes that that persist after your counselling is complete. I use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution Focussed Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Schema Therapy (Schema Mode). I use a number of trauma-focussed treatments including Prolonged exposure and Cognitive Processing Therapy (a trauma-focussed CBT). I frequently use behaviour change strategies to help my clients to break bad habits and improve their health and to support their mental health.
